Associate, Executive Search and Client Services – National Capital Region

Based in Ottawa, the Associate, Executive Search and Client Services is a critical member of the team and plays a key role in finding the right candidate, for the right role, at the right time.

At MondouxRollins Partners, our clients are the organizations (not the candidates), and they come to us with complex senior talent needs. Often, growth is a problem with our client base (in that they have too much of it), and the stress on the organization is exposing gaps at the leadership level. We partner with our clients to help them close the gap through new leadership talent – often times brand new roles to the business. We’re helping them scale for growth, and it’s exciting work.

As the associate, you’ll join a project-by-project based assignment team consisting of a partner, a principal, a senior associate and a client services lead. You may find this to be some of the most challenging work you’ve ever done, all while working with a great group of people – your colleagues at the firm, and our clients’ teams.

If you thrive in a fast-paced, project-based environment, where you will learn a lot in a very short period of time, and where you are constantly exposed to interesting industries, candidates and clients, this role could be for you. It also helps if you have a soft spot for entrepreneurs, because that’s our client base. We work exclusively with privately-held companies. We believe that if we help them grow, we help the Canadian economy grow.

Our work also has a broader purpose. We believe that if we do the work right, we’re changing lives: the lives of the candidates, who get to take on a new and exciting opportunity; but also, the lives of our clients. We’ve had CEOs tell us that a candidate we put into a key leadership role has helped them sleep better at night – less worrying about the business, less work on their plate, less pressure from the board, etc. And hey, helping someone get a good night’s sleep? That feels good.
