We led and completed the search for an external CEO on behalf of a well-established, family-owned business. With 450 employees and offices in Ottawa, Washington DC, Sydney and Frankfurt, JSI has been a trusted partner of law enforcement, intelligence and security organizations worldwide for over 40 years.
The CEO’s mandate was to oversee and drive synergies between all operations and teams, with a focus on creating market-driven technology to deliver exceptional results for customers. Profitable and sustainable growth, excellence in people and processes, as well as continuing to build on the organization’s strong corporate culture was also part of the new CEO’s mandate.

We led and completed the search for a first-time CEO on behalf of a privately-owned custom desserts manufacturer (over 150 employees).
The CEO's mandate was to oversee all operations and teams, with a focus on creating profitable growth through excellence in people and processes, and by building a high- performing corporate culture. This included ensuring best practices in production, sales, finance and accounting, product development, supply chain management, quality assurance, marketing, retail operations, IT, legal, human resources and health and safety, and in fixed assets (facilities, plant equipment, etc).
Once this first-time CEO was in place, we then built out the new management team, completing roles in finance (controller), sales/commercial, operations, quality, supply chain, customer service and HR.

We led and completed the search for a COO on behalf of what was originally a privately-owned manufacturer in the global defence and security industry (over 115 employees). The company was sold to a private equity firm and the COO (whom we placed) became the president. We then worked with this individual to help build out key roles in finance and engineering.
The client was seeking a COO who is passionate about working with a team to build a best-in-class manufacturing and distribution facility. The COO’s mandate involved the optimizing and scaling of production, processes and people to drive the continued growth of HFI Pyrotechnics.

The client was seeking a forward-thinking finance professional and risk manager who could provide key strategic insights and support to the organization and its President. The CFO’s mandate was to oversee a significant team in finance and accounting and act as a steward of the organization - lending expertise, insight and foresight - to guide the organization through significant growth.
